Chosen Solution I replaced the camshaft position sensor A bank 2 and the problem continues. The engine starts to idle very low and has cut out on me twice sense replacement of sensor. Battery and alternator is good. Not sure where to go from here Ok so the final answer to this was that the plastic timing chain guide on the VTC was broken, on top of the phasers being broken as well....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone. So my iphone 6 overheated in my pocket in september 2020 and it never turned on again. Yesterday i changed the battery and the screen, i unpluuged the battery first then the screen changed the battery then the screen but as soon i cliped the battery it started to overheat in the processor area. Today i changed the metal square from the old screen, home button, camera and speaker to the new screen(that part was wrecked of the new screen) and the overheating problem stopped so i thought the phone was going to turn on but it didn´t....

Chosen Solution Laptop would not boot up (stall at the Apple load screen then turn off, was overheating before total fail) looked up the issue on the net. Indicated the issue maybe the logic board, had issues getting the old one out (not the most technical) installed the new board with no major issues. Now the screen won’t come on, and so I can’t tell if the fix took, checked the cable connections they look good but no expert....

Chosen Solution Dear people, I dropped my MBPr recently. Since then the following hardware doesn’t work anymore: wifi bluetooth hdmi input sd card input right upper usb port headphone jack. After some research I figured that none of these are connected to the motherboard. The first two problems in my list might be due to a faulty airport card. The 3rd, 4th and 5th are probably due to a faulty IO board and the final one might be due to a broken headphone jack....

Chosen Solution While trying to replace the creen on an ipoD touch screen, I was removing the mainboard/logic board when I accidentally snapped the long cable like edge of the board. Will this affect the iPod? Is there anything at all I can do? Thanks Ciaran Talbot, this looks like some major damage. From what I can see on those pictures, you would require a new board. You might try to remove some of the shellac like coating with very fine emery cloth on both surfaces....

Chosen Solution some applications will not open and folders etc are not visible on the deskstop You’ll need an external bootable drive or the original OS install disk so you can check your internal drive for errors using Disk Utility. Did you just upgrade your OS? If you did the installer might have removed older apps which won’t work with the newer OS if you told it to.

Chosen Solution I am unable to open my iphone 6s because there is something stuck in the hinge, need help. There is no “hinge” in the iPhone 6S. At the top of the device, there are flexes that run from the screen to the logic board so you don’t want to be pulling with too much force otherwise you can damage them. The screen is also held in place with an adhesive so that may be holding the screen back....

However, if you get a sim card adapter, it should work perfectly (assuming the iPads are functional and both unlocked)....

Chosen Solution Hello! I’ve tried to research my issue but have had no success. I bought a switch lite listed as “does not turn on”. Opened it up and discovered corrosion damage. After a gentle scrub of all the components it turns on! However, the power button will not work. The volume buttons work, but not the power. I bought a new ribbon cable - same issue, volume works, not powerI swapped the motherboard with a working switch with working power button, same new ribbon cable - same issueSwapped physical power button and the membrane with a known “working” lite - same issue The only thing I can think of is a warped shell that’s not allowing proper contact with the ribbon cable....

You will need SMD (surface mounted device) soldering skills and tools to do the repair. I couldn’t find the correct replacement connector for the drone on places such as Ebay etc so if you can’t find one either check here to find a suitable replacement connector if yours is damaged rather than just loose....

Relooked at all connections and everything is correctly connected. iTunes recognized the iTouch, but I can see nothing even when it is on and charging. did I do something wrong or is it a bad LCD?...

Chosen Solution Since a few days there is a green vertical line on the left side. Although is very thin (1 pixel wide), it is very distracting. Sometimes appears and sometimes doesn’t. Could it be a LVDS cable issue? or perhaps i would need to replace the full LCD. Could someone help me please? Whatever it is, i will try to fix it myself. Chosen Solution i need sony bravia 24" led replaced Tushara, If bought recently, return to place of purchase or if under warranty, you will have to abide by the stores/manufacture written warranty on your TV. If you are wanting to replace the LED display/screen out of warranty, it is probably not cost effective unless you manage to find a good used screen.
