Chosen Solution Based on Internal keyboard & trackpad quit working. Please help diagnose! it looks like the trackpad and associated electronics from my top case are dead, resulting in the internal keyboard & trackpad not working anymore, while the other components (Bluetooth controller) still work. So now I’m considering replacing the trackpad and especially its logic board (the one under the battery, to which the keyboard and main board flex cables connect)....

Chosen Solution i have to turn my phone side ways to reach apps and type HB SA, sounds like a bad digitizer. Replacing the display assembly should fix this. Hope this helps, good luck.

Chosen Solution I have a seemingly random looking, diagonal, line on my screen. It is only visible with colors like (dark) grey and blue. Black is too dark (it won’t show) and white (or other light colors) won’t show the line either. I made a photo of the line, and in the photo it is not too visible, but you can see it. In real life it is not much more visible either, but since it is there, I want to know if I can expect other problems, or if I can fix it....

Chosen Solution I’ve been reading the guides for replacing the left and right thermal sensors as well as the guide for replacing the heat sink. Anyways, I notice that in the last steps of removing the left and right thermal senors, the guides say to, Peel back the orange Kapton tape covering the left/right thermal sensor.Use a spudger to pry the left thermal sensor off the heat sink/lower case. Chosen Solution I followed the step-by-step instructions on replacing the lightning connector (iPhone 6). Had the usual difficulty reconnecting the antenna wire, but managed it. Now the level of cellular signal is significantly reduced with the phone having difficulty holding onto (Verizon) LTE, often dropping back to 3G. Also, the battery life is reduced, presumably because the radio is working harder. Any suggestions ? Can be a faulty part. Put back the old one and test the signal - see if the signal improves....

Chosen Solution I’ve replaced a few iPhone screens here at my company. One of the first users I assisted has noticed that the iFixit screen is slightly dimmer than his original screen. I used my iPhone with an OEM screen and it is noticeably dimmer not a huge difference but it is noticeable. Is that just the nature of replacement screens or should I try another replacement screen? Chosen Solution I have replaced the iphone 6s screen, but its not working properly. It stops responding while typing or switching between apps.
