Chosen Solution hello. I have Frigidaire dryer FEFB9200ES0 from 2005 it works perfectly during the summer. during the winter it would not start. However, when I bring it into service mode by pressing select pause/cancel and then start/pause cancel, it will spin and heat. Chosen Solution My Mac Mini (Mid 2010) has suddenly developed a hum it has never had before. I did a complete teardown to determine the cause. Its not the HDD, nor the optical drive (which I replaced with an SSD)… It is the fan! But why now? Chosen Solution I too off the bottom cover to do some basic cleaning of my system (yes it was out of warranty). Everything works fine now except I can’t eject the disc straight from the console. I can still power-up with no problems. Any ideas on a solution to this one? I can eject from the controller with no problems. The most likely cause of this problem is either that the bottom case is not totally snapped into place or there is also a small metal piece that goes from the plastic button that you touch to a copper pad on the optical drive board....

Chosen Solution My iPhone is sitting at the activation screen. I am able to swipe to unlock and select my country. When I press the arrow in the top right to go to the next page, it doesn’t respond. I’ve tried pushing with some force but the touch on that specific spot does not respond. To add to further confusion I powered the phone off and swiped across the top and it registered fine....

Chosen Solution So I replaced my screen because my digitizer stopped working but now the front camera doesn’t work nor does the phone call speaker also the digitizer acted up once since I installed it. I opened the phone back up to make sure everything was still connected at the logic board and it was. Is the part defective or something else? Thanks for the help guys! P.S. I completely whipped the phone when it first started acting up and that didn’t fix it so that’s how I know the digitizer was bad...

Chosen Solution I’ve owned my Iphone 8 for 5 days and somehow the camera lens cracked. It doesn’t affect the camera performance but will this part become available at some point? The apple store said the only way is to replace the entire phone. I saw a youtube video for an Iphone 7 where they heated it up, removed the glass lens and then glued a new one in using silicone....

Chosen Solution Can I replace my screen with an OEM screen from another phone without losing Touch ID or do I have to absolutely switch everything? Main thing is to transfer the home button and disconnect the battery before removing any parts. There is still a slight chance of loosing touch id but its rare it happens. No. Just need to switch the home button. That’s where Touch ID is stored....

Those are extremely hard to come by and if you do find them, the cost is usually higher that a new TV....

Chosen Solution Is there a solution yet for the service message on the iPhone XS Max? I replaced a battery with a new one after copying the serial number. 3Utools says the battery is “original” but it still shows the service message in the menu. From what I have read the only solution is that I need an original Apple Battery with the TI chip, copy info with JC Pro, WL, iCopy, etc and then it will be fine....

Chosen Solution Hi all, Since a few days my left shift key is not working. It;s possible due some liquid spill. I found some spots on the battery and the back on the touchpad. At all time all the letters are all caps. I managed to fix it with some software, Karabiner. Without configuring some settings it’s disabling the caps. But the shift key still isn’t working. Side note: An external usb apple keyboard is working fine, even the left shift....

Chosen Solution My screen randomly started getting these black and colored lines across it… It started on right side and slowly spreading across the screen throughout the day. My screen has been cracked for more than a few months now. But the screen issue just started.. The touch screen doesn’t work where the lines are but works where they aren’t on left. Yes. Chosen Solution Hi Sam. This problem seems to be occurring with more frequency lately. Are you getting any iTunes error messages (9, 4013, 4014 etc)? It’s hard to say if it is software or hardware related as many things can cause similar symptoms. I’ve had a few 6’s that have pretty much the exact same problem. I tried everything as well, including replacing U2 and reballing the NAND. However, once all of the standard fixes have been tried and based on the research I have done, it may be related to a corrupted NAND....
