Chosen Solution Hello, I was asked about and have been doing research to see if I can take an old MacBook Pro 9,2 mid 2012 15” case and put in parts from later variants to upgrade it to a new set of hardware while still having the same old case. The person who is asking dosen’t like the ultra thin cases and wants to be able to work on it and asked me if I could figure out how to rebuild it....
Chosen Solution Ps4 had no picture,tried booting to safe mode. Now there are red lines on the screen, static/flickering horizontal lines. Bad HDMI port? Kinda of strange that screen stays black until you try to go to safe mode. Any ideas? Yes, you guessed right…bad HDMII. If you haven’t tried replacing the HDMI cable you might try that but this is almost always a bad HDMI port. I hope that helps....

Chosen Solution replacement went fine, now will not power up either with force start or normal start. When plugged in apple logo will come on for a few seconds go out for about 30 seconds and repeat. help??? If it wasn’t showing this behaviour before you replaced the battery. It is either a faulty battery or battery not connected properly. If you try another battery and it is still the same I would try an update with ITunes....
Chosen Solution It would appear that the driver’s side headlight fuse is blown. The problem is that neither fuse box has an indication as to what fuse belongs to the headlights. Okay just checked in the service manual and it looks like the following: 30 headlamp L low, 20 headlamp R low, 28 headlamp L high, 27 headlamp R high, hope this helps. how does this help me find the fuse and or fuse box

Unfortunately, I don’t like that the draw cords in the hood and waist are the same color as the jacket. It’s part of the Touch Point system that has an embedded cord lock sewn into each side of the hood and hem. Can try reflowing the RAM chips (may only fix temporarily since this is usually a bad chip) or replacing the affected chip(s). Alternatively replace the whole board....

I did everything on the guide, when I got the white screen…I took everything apart and made sure that everything was connected correctly and everything was, however…I still got the white screen. Chosen Solution Screen will work to log in and swipe up, however is otherwise unresponsive. Also cannot force quit. It’s hard to fathom why the screen would work for unlocking and not for the apps. I suspect a software/iOS glitch. You should try to do a hard reset (hold the Home & Power Button for 10 secs) to see if that helps. Otherwise, backup the device if you can and do a full restore on it....
Chosen Solution When i turned on my 2ds, i got “Could not detect an SD Card. The software on the SD Card could not be displayed.” Error message. When i tried the sd card on my computer, it needed to be formatted. The sd card came with the 2ds and is 4gb, but it shows up as raw and only 1gb on my computer. It can no longer be reformatted, i even tried to do a low level format to no avail....

Chosen Solution When I try to listen to music or watch a youtube video, there’s no media sound through the headphones. There’s only sound through the headphones when making calls so I know they work. If I start a youtube video without headphones plugged in the video plays fine but when I plug in my headphones there’s no sound and the video screen goes black. Thanks for your help in advance!...

Chosen Solution I removed my dead optical drive and purchased a SSD caddy and a 480gb Kingston SSD. The caddy fits perfectly- no issues with mounting at all. When I boot, the new drive is recognized but I cannot format, just get “Wiping volume data to prevent future accidental probing”. Seemed odd to me that this would communicate with the hardware and “see” the drive and all its info but not format....

Chosen Solution The pin in the charger port is either bent or broken off and RCA Tablet model RCT6103W46 will not charge. Hi, Cannot find a video that shows how to open your particular model (RCA Tablet model RCT6103W46) but here is one for a RCT 6203W46 which may be close enough to be helpful in getting yours open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-bFHycv… Once open you should have access to the charging port connector and can see what board connection type and configuration it is so that you can find a replacement part....
Chosen Solution Every time I restart my laptop the time is wrong. I reset the time, but the next time I turn off the laptop the time is lost again. Sometimes if I do not change the time on the laptop right when I start it the time will fix itself after a little while. It is possible that your CMOS battery has died. Look for directions on opening your laptop and check to see what type of battery your motherboard uses....

The white light is still blinking, but there is no signal and I am forced to hold the power button to restart it. You’ll probably want to clean out the vents. They can store a lot of dust.
