Chosen Solution I have an Element ELEFW504 television that was given to me because “I’m handy”. The symptoms upon receiving it was if you were trying to turn it on, it had to be unplugged and plugged in, pressing the power button numerous times to where it’ll finally come to life and from there have no problem. I replaced the board thinking that would be the fix but no. Upon talking to a tv repair person, they advised replacing the LED strips because the symptoms I had explained proved to be a short in one of the strips....

Chosen Solution hello, i broke my screen’s digitizer and the replacement is on its way, but there’s a slight issue, there’s a glue between my LCD and digitizer, after replacing the broken digitzer with the new one, shouldn’t i apply such glue again ? or is it fine ? i bought adhesive stickers but am not sure they act as a glue too. can i get some clarification about this please?...

Chosen Solution Every day or two, after I haven’t been using it for several hours, my Roku 2 XS freezes and needs to be rebooted. When I unplug it and plug it in again, I have to fiddle with the connector before it reboots. This is not the power cord connector, but the connector from the TV to the Roku, on the Roku end. Even so, I still need to power cycle, so maybe there are two things going on....

I had an SSD on the upper bay connected to the motherboard with the original Apple cable that came with the Mini and a HDD connected to the motherboard with the iFixit SATA cable. Chosen Solution I opened my MBP last night to find that the screen was alternating between all red, then all green, then all blue, then all grey then vertical bars and continually repeating that pattern. Chosen Solution I dropped my phone last night, and now it thinks it doesn’t have a sim card. How can I fix this? I’ve tried restarting it, but it cannot make calls, texts, or go online. if the sim card is not reading, there is a high likelyhood something got damaged in the drop. either the sim reader itself, or, more likely, the logic circuit for the sim reader. if you replace the sim tray, and it doesnt fix the issue, then the logic circuit is failing, and that would need to go....

Chosen Solution When selecting safari or Firefox it takes about one minute or longer for it to open. Selecting links takes much too long. This all started just recently. Is there a motherboard battery on this iBook G4? There is no PRAM battery for the iBook G4. Just a capacitor to keep the PRAM powered during battery swaps. Your Airport card may be failing. Chosen Solution Haven’t turned it back on yet. In the Boston area any local help? You have made the right call by not turning on or trying to charge. Remove the battery and get it to a local computer repair as soon as you can to get it opened up and cleaned up. Corrosion and contaminates are the worst enemy and will only get worse with time. The sooner it is cleaned the better chance you have of saving it :)

Chosen Solution my sony camera dslra350 will not power on @goldstein58 , Larry, Remove batteries, clean cameras battery terminals in compartment of camera and make sure terminals are clean and shiny as well as battery contacts. A pen eraser works well or long Qtip dampened with 90% or better Isopropyl Alcohol, blow out all dust/debri with canned compressed air. Replace battery with a good quality battery or if rechargeable make sure taking full charge(check with DVOM) to see if battery/charger may be defective....
