Chosen Solution I ordered an new Battery and a new docking port for my old iPhone 3G. Followed the repair manuals as best as i could. Once it was all assembled went to test it out and let it charge. After charging for an hour went to turn on the device, it acted like it was going to boot with the apple logo and then it went blank. It would only get that far if it was directly plugged into a wall otherwise it would not even attempt a boot up....
Chosen Solution So, I purchased a battery replacement kit from iFixit and installed it as directed. Now the phone restarts itself, the battery gauge is completely wacked out saying it is 13 percent charged then goes down to 5 percent back and forth. The phone is now crazy slow too. Bad battery or did I jack up the phone some how? Could be both. Try a new, known good battery with it and check for damaged components near the battery connector....

After connecting it all correctly and following guides etc we put the phone back together, and instead of charging the phone doesn’t register anything (the screen still works with the ‘out of battery’ icons so we know it’s still functional) but it now makes a quiet popping noise when you plug the charger into it?...
Chosen Solution So i fitted a brand new replacement screen to an iphone 11. However, This time the phone is now showing a flashing apple logo really quick then stops for 10 seconds and shows it again. I can access the restore function however, phone is also unable to restore… I did a full restore before changing the screen and all was working fine. Apart from the obvious damaged screen. I’m kinda thinking the screen is defective but it shows the restore information fine so I know the screen is working… Is there anything i can do or should i just request a replacement screen....
Chosen Solution my hisense Sero 8 E2281 needs a new screen (again). i ordered a replacement digitizer but was not aware that the frame was not included. Seperating the glass from the frame proved dificult. and my new screen got cracked in the replacement process. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN ORDER A NEW DIGITIZER SCREEN WITH THE FRAME AND IF SO, PRICE??? Any answer would be greatly appreciated. I found this hope it helps....
Chosen Solution Room temperature dispenser is too cold. Use an IR gun and measure the temperature of the water still in the bottle then measure the temperature of the water that comes out of the machine. It’s turning to winter and the ambient temperature in your location may have dropped. IR Thermometer
Chosen Solution This is an odd predictament. Did a repair on an i5S, and now the vibrator motor is apparently not working. Not sure what to do, any ideas? Yeah, I saw another thread like this, but there didn’t seem to be any resolution The bracket on the screen is probably bent slightly and preventing the vibrator from turning. I had that problem once. pop the screen up but leave it connected....

Recently the display suddenly started dimming, enough so that I couldn’t use it any more. In the dimmed display, I noticed some vertical bands and therefore suspected the T-CON after some research. Is the phone recognized by iTunes? When you replaced the Strobe, Chestnut and Backlight driver IC, did you probe the circuit to see if any of the voltage rails were missing or low?...
Chosen Solution I notice that the SSD in the Surface Pro X looks a little different than the pictures I have seen of potential replacements (still looking, have not found any available). The connector has only one notch and it appears quite a bit thicker. Is there some shielding that needs to be removed or moved to new SSD? Have since returned the Pro X and went for a Laptop 3 due to Win10 issues....
Chosen Solution The head lights work fine. The fuse is good and so are the bulbs. Hi @mikeb007 , Have you checked that the power is there at the tail light bulb connector when they are turned on? If it is and they are not working, have you checked that the earth connection to the tail lights is OK? Use a DMM’s Voltmeter function to check for power and a DMM’s Ohmmeter function to test the earth
Chosen Solution My LG Stylo 1 began boot looping in November…they diagnosed it with water damage and therefore claim they cannot fix it. THIS IS NOT WATER DAMAGE. Do you think if I go to metro pcs for t-mobile can the fix it?? Grace Bah we do not know if it is or is not water damaged. Boot looping can be caused by a bad battery etc. as well. If you are absolutely sure it is not water damaged you want to start with that and use it as a know-good place to start further troubleshooting if needed....

Can anyone help me? You need to use the orginal motherboard that was with that replacement drive. sounds like the drive itself is bad If your drive still doesn’t work after replacing it could be the fuse on motherboard....
Chosen Solution We got a used Macbook a couple of weeks ago that wasn’t holding a charge long. So I decided to change the battery, but as soon as I plugged in the new one, there was smoke coming out of the area indicated. I pulled it out immediately, then put it back in, and I guess it was done burning up because it didn’t smoke this time. But it’s definitely not working now when I plug it in....

The existing lens is not budging, pushing from inside face of phone hasnt moved it. Whats the best way to get the existing lens (including steel ring) out? You don’t need to take it completely apart but you need to disassemble it enough to unplug the LCD and Digitizer connectors You’re screwed. Really really really really screwed. Not only are you really screwed but…… you are screwed as well Just to put in my 2 cents: a hot plate itself is around 100 dollars....

Chosen Solution So I have my Mini 2G that I use off and on. The screen, when plugged in or even fully charged, will not display anything on the screen. The back light still turns on. The weird thing is that the screen will eventually show a something when the battery is pretty much dead. It has been dropped couple times, but nothing too harsh. Should I just do a screen replacement, or is there something else I can do prior to doing the replacement....
