Chosen Solution First time soldering, i practiced on a few cheap mice and got the hang of desoldering and resoldering the micro switches pretty easily, however for whatever reason the solder simply wouldn’t detach from the solder pads on my g303 i spend hours trying and eventually i decided to just try pulling them out little by little with pliers after heating up the remaining solder on the pcb, but it seems to have taken off a few of the solder pads (I believe that’s what they’re called) with it?...
Chosen Solution Hello. Story short … I’ve blown a few components near the LCD connector on the main logic board. I need to find the parts on ebay so that I can replace them. From what I can find on YouTube and Google. It seems to be some kind of filter or a fuse (that I’m not so sure yet). From a thread on IFIXIT someone has similar problem and got help to identify the component as L4400 a 120 Ohm 3A fix inductor (ferrite bead)....
Chosen Solution headphone jack was broken inside female end…need new female end believe. Forrest Clark, the audio jack on the 4th gen Nano is soldered onto the logic board. It is possible to resolder if you have a:) the tools b:) the skills and c:) the parts. The part is available here head phone jack. However, it is probably best to replace the logic board. Chosen Solution Hi, I stupidly spilled tea on my laptop (it’s a very old laptop but still working perfectly fine, well, used to), the tea mostly went over the right side of the keyboard. So I unplugged it, tipped it upside down & left it. I don’t believe much tea was spilled but after an hour, I just wanted to see if the laptop was functioning at all. I turned it on no problem but when I went to test the keyboard, most of the right side wasn’t working (well they were kinda working, for example I’d press ‘m’ & ‘m#’ would come up, the return key seems to the back space tab etc)....
Chosen Solution I have my Ipod Classic synced to a very old Toshiba computer. I have 40GB of music on Iplayer on the Toshiba carefully accumulated over a dozen years or so. The Toshiba is now pretty much finished and I have a fairly new Macbook Air. My problem is this, is it possible to transfer all the music from the Toshiba to the Macbook Air? I have plugged the Ipod into the Mac and the music files do appear but in a recessed font, and can’t be played or accessed....
Chosen Solution A couple of problems that may be related: tablet will not do anything unless it is connected to AC power when connected to power, the green battery symbol shows 3/4 full but then next image says 100% when I do turn it on, it stays on for only 1 sec then turns off again. I get the Samsung name up, the start of the blue twirly symbol, then off it goes....
Chosen Solution Hi all, The device was functioning properly since it turned off suddenly, now it boots at HTC logo then turned off and doesn’t boot completely until I plug it with the charger or any power source. I noticed that if i enabled the power extreme save mode and unplug the charger it keeps running, until I disable the power save mode and launch a (heavy to CPU) app such as Facebook it turns off again....
Chosen Solution Bought a used iMac A1311 without a display screen. It was tested before I bought it and was released by an apple tech as it functions as intended. Bought a screen and installed it. Turned it on and got 3 beeps. Checked and fixed the RAM and tried again. This time got the Apple chime could here it booting but screen was black. Also replaced cable #593-1280 A. Double checked everything still a black screen....
Chosen Solution Sorry for the bad pictures but my phone camera lens have been broken for about a year and after not being able to find a place that would actually attempt to fix it, I’m considering trying to fix it myself, but I don’t know how to go about doing it. I’ve seen a video on replacing the glass cover but even if i did that i think the smudges would still be there, so I’d have to clean the camera and that would be difficult....

Chosen Solution I have successfully completed the installation of a 2tb SSD replacing the original 1tb HDD. I thought I would be able to connect the HDD and simply restore to the new SSD but it doesn’t want to work. I also thought I would be able to restore from Time Machine that I used on the old HDD but it doesn’t even see the Time Machine backup when that drive is connected....
Chosen Solution I bought a 12" 1.33ghz iBook. It works perfectly but has a cracked LCD. I bought an LCD from an earlier model iBook off of here to replace. The only thing I replaced on the 1.33ghz iBook was the panel. I used all the existing cables and housing. The problem is that when I put the non-cracked panel in, the LVDS cable gets burning hot. I thought these panels were interchangeable....

Chosen Solution I stripped the two bottom screws and proceeded to take the digitize screen off and ripped the top ribbon. (This is the ribbon that you have to remove. And then install on a new digitizer screen)…I cannot find a replacement ribbon any where. Can anyone direct me as to where I may purchase one? Chosen Solution Need help! I did a screen repair for a customer about 2 weeks ago and today she says it cracked w/out even dropping it. What can be the cause of this? My guess is frame damage? To much pressure against the screen. This is always a hard call, had the same situation, this summer on iPhone 6. I aggree I would check that area for signs it was dropped....

Ever since while my phone screen is asleep, not powered off, the phone screen will light up white for a split second, like a flash multiple times once about five-ten or so seconds.
