When the power button is pressed i get the start up chime, the fans turn on, the HD spins then the start up chime sounds again and again in an endless loop.. Chosen Solution When I try to connect to iTunes, the connection lasts for only a few seconds before the main screen returns. Have you tried using a different/new USB-30 pin cable? If that doesn’t solve your problem, there is most likely a problem with the 30-pin receptacle in your Touch. This is a fairly old device so it may not be worth repairing. That said, I have recently sold my old Touch 2/3 iPods that my kids used and honestly, I could have sold them 10 times over they were so popular....
Chosen Solution I replaced my brothers iPhone screen for him and after booting the phone back up I noticed strange lines and black bar going down the screen. I have replaced screens lots of times and this has never happened. What is weird is when I press the power button to turn the screen off and turn it back on the screen is fine but when I leave the phone down for a few minutes and turn it back on the screen displays the lines again....
Chosen Solution Ok so nearly two weeks ago i plugged my phone into the headphone jack of some old stereo system my uncle has, i was trying to set it up and in the process the phone fell out of my hand, i was sitting down so it was about a 2-3 foot drop. i picked the phone up and it was on the boot up screen (white background and Black apple), it was taking abnormally long to boot up so i held the home and power button, which i now know was a TERRIBLE idea....
Chosen Solution Hi guys my iphone 5s stuck on apple logo after it dropped on the floor. i tried to recover it by using home and power keys at same time. but the problem is exist. The physical drop clearly damaged something inside your phone. You may be lucky; it could simply be a flex cable that partially unseated from its connector due to the impact. If you feel confident, open your phone (you will need a special screwdriver) and follow the directions for the 5S display assembly replacement guide....

Chosen Solution When I insert the cable I have wiggle it around for the yellow light to come on and it stops registering the cord unless i hold it in place. How do I fix this? Get a new charger!! Sometimes when you have a charging cable in the same position for a while, it gets a bit worn down. Unless you get a different charger, it will only charge in a certain position....
Chosen Solution When I move to another image you can still see the previous image on the screen. What is the cause of that and is it easy to fix? It is called “lcd burning” and eventually happens to all lcds or oled displays. The only way (that I know) to fix it is to replace the entire lcd. It will NOT cause any damage to the insides even if u don’t replace the screen....

Chosen Solution I need help aligning the clips over the super-drive to install the top case again. I recently cleaned the heatsink and fan, and cant seem to get the top case perfectly attached over the super-drive. It has a very large bulge over it. Thanks! P.S: I also redid the thermal paste with Arctic Silver Ceramique, and the idle tempatures went down on the CPU. However, the Chipset seems 1 to 2 degrees higher....

My question is: do I need to desolder the battery to install the new USB c port? In many cases I consider a BIOS password you cannot clear without a motherboard swap/$50+ programmer BER, but this one is super good cosmetically and was not average. I finished the motherboard swap between the parts system and good chassis. So far it has been perfect, but there’s an issue preventing 100% compatibility :-(. It took the non-SureView screen mostly well, but I lost the SureView button (duh) and the brightness controls, even with a BIOS reset....
Chosen Solution I cant work out how to assign different ringtones to different callers in my contacts list. I can enter edit mode in contacts view and change notification sound, and can change group membership, but I cannot change ringtone. I have tried it with the fiull contacts file copied from Google to Phone…makes no difference. I cannot see how to copy contacts to the SIM…maybe that is what is required....

Chosen Solution I dropped my Iphone X resulting in the back glass getting shattered. After I shattered the backside the front screen started clicking things in a spesific part of the screen by itself. Bottom/mid right side. No Visual glitches or damage can be seen on the front screen. Has anyone encountered the same problem and have a fix? I would suspect that the screen was damaged by the impact that shattered the rear glass....
