Chosen Solution I recently replaced all four rubber CV boots on my 325i, repacked them with grease, and they seem to be holding up fine. During the installation, I decided to leave the axles inserted in their splines in the rear trailing arms because removal is pretty likely to mess up the rear wheel bearings and removing the axels completely is really not necessary. I simply removed the six or so bolts holding the inner CV joints to the output shafts of the differential and lowered the axle enough to remove both boots....

Chosen Solution So I got the replacement screen from iFixit, they tend to have a great reputation. Im having backlight bleed issues - http://imgur.com/a/8YDEc and deformity when pressure is applied to the screen - here is a video of it - https://youtu.be/ksBiWWV7ymY The chasis itself is in excellent condition, not bent, not a scratch on it. If I insert the original screen, these issues do not exist, no matter how hard you press on the screen you wont get that bubble, and here its caused by light pressure (no more than you would do for poke/peek gestures on 6S/7)....

Chosen Solution So I’ve got 2 sgs3’s, one of which is bricked beyond everything. The other one’s got about 10 million cracks in its screen. Will it be possible (using the iFixit electronics essential toolkit) to take one screen and replace it with the other? Yes it is possible. If they are both for the same carrier you can transfer the screen and midframe to the other phone. If they are from different carriers like at&t(gsm) and Verizon (cdma) then the midframe and motherboard layout are slightly different....

Chosen Solution The wires on my charger for my MacBook recently broke so I rewired it to fix it. Upon pluggining it in to charge I realised smoke coming from between the charging adapter and the port on the laptop. I then realised that I had accidentally reversed the polarity of the charger when I reconnected the wires. I corrected the wires and tried to charge it again. It still did not charge the laptop (led on charger didn’t turn on)....

Chosen Solution New note 20 5g bought April 2021, took a rock to the screen and display, this phone model is sm-n981u1. Bought new screen, display, and frame, switched out the innards from old phone in to new phone, power it on and all I have is a snowy screen, model of replacement is sm-n981. I switch the innards back to old phone and now i have snowy screen as where before the switch i had my display working in old phone....

Chosen Solution While opening my watch and removing the broken display screen, an edge of the force touch sensor was lifted and isn‘t sticking to the case anymore. The part is working and not damaged but as said, the edge is not sticking to the case. I don‘t know if the new display might sit loose on this edge. Would you recommend replacing it as well? The problem you face is either a leak if the watch gets wet or the display may pop off, besides the touch may not be properly registered as well....

Chosen Solution I am having an issue with my laptop keyboard, it takes 3 seconds(sometimes longer or less) for my 7ujm keys to work on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013). I have cleaned the keyboard ribbon and it is not that. I have checked mouse keys, PRAM reset, NVRAM reset, clean installed Sierra and anything else I could find online about this issue. I have replaced the battery recently and this began shortly after, There was spillage in the laptop when I got it, but this has not effected the laptop before and like I said the keys work intermittently....

Chosen Solution I just swapped logic boards with a cracked screen MBP and my MBP that had no backlight, I thought the problem was the backlight fuse, but now both boards have no backlight when connected to either of their screens. Does anyone know what could be causing this? A faulty lcd screen and/or lvds cable can short the backlight circuit all the way back to the backlight fuse, sometimes killing a few components along the way....

Chosen Solution All of the icons on my macbook air desktop have disappeared, but they still appear elsewhere. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? It appears your shortcuts have lost there linkage back to the original files which is why you are seeing the generic icon vs the discrete icon the app or document would normally have. This could be caused by moving or renaming the folder or the volume the original file was located....

Chosen Solution Model A1342. Old battery was swollen - MAC worked fine. But made me nervous. Bought new battery and installed. Everything went fine. Charged with MagSafe Orange then green + 2 hours at green. Nothing. No response to power button or any of SMC resets. Let’s do this: Take the battery out, now with nothing connected press the power button for a good 15 secs. Now plug in the MagSafe the system should spontaneously start up, did it and is the MagSafe LED Amber or not lit at all?...

Chosen Solution After taking the car for a second service to reduce the revs I still find them higher than when I bought it. The mechanic said all he did was reset the computer. Is there a way I can change the computer settings or how would I go about changing the revs? countparas, You can not change the cars computer settings with out special scanner/software/knowledge as normally found at a dealership or well equipped shop....

Chosen Solution Problem began with touch screen going crazy intermittently. Then right side became difficult to use, now that side is completely non-responsive. This makes it impossible to even unlock the phone. Which part of the phone contains the touch sensor? The glass/digitizer or the LCD screen itself? Maybe there is something wrong with the flex cable of digitizer touch screen. You might have to replace the touch screen. hope you can find the new screen and its cost from here...
