Chosen Solution Hi! I own a small repair business and this is my first time repairing this laptop the repair was meant to be quite easy and there was only one screen i could find online that was cheap and could be shipped to me quickly. I tried fitting this screen into the laptop and everything is the same other than the video flex cable connector junction. Its too small and it doesnt go all the way too connect it....

Chosen Solution My Nintendo 3DS XL turns on fine; blue light powers on and both screens flicker; however, neither of them lights up completely. The blue light stays on so I know that the battery has power and that the system is getting power. Any ideas? I have checked all of the ribbon cables and they seem to be secure. I am not sure what to troubleshoot for both screens not lighting up....

Chosen Solution The camera scrolls through the menus ie. the flash menu and shooting mode menu the timer, single shot and multiple shot mode menu. It is also very slow processing images it has a fresh card. Hello, i had the same problem. To solve this turn off the camera press hard on rotating button and rotate it around while still pressing hard on it. Do it several times. Should cure the problem....

Chosen Solution So I work for an Apple repair shop and am well versed in most hardware/software troubleshooting. The #1 problem people have when they come in is a slow iMac/Macbook that freezes and beach-balls (colorful spinning icon). We always check the RAM and CPU usage to see if theres a rouge application that is chewing up memory, but that almost never seems to be the case. We clear out extensions in browsers, run anti-virus to clear out malware, check he HD to make sure its not loaded to the brim, but usually to no avail....

Chosen Solution Hello, Followed a YouTube video for replacing my girlfriends screen on her 6S. I’ve had to do this before and had no problems following the exact same video. This time however I got a puff of smoke when connecting the 2nd connector ribbon to the board. I carried on and reconnected everything and it all powers up fine. Screen works with no issues that I can see. I’m just concerned there will be other problems at a later date or did I get away with it?...

If you can be heard by the other person then the voice sending circuitry of your phone is OK and that there is a problem with the phone’s internal microphone....

Chosen Solution Hi! I have a Mid 2012 Macbook pro and for the past 4 years It´s been running fantastically with a Crucial MX100 500GB SSD. Running high sierra 10.13 Last night though, The laptop failed to boot, showing me the dreaded folder with the question mark. I tried internet recovery, single user long on etc etc without any luck. I then booted from an USB HDD (original internal drive + enclosure), and was able to see that the disk was recognised but it said that it needed to be fixed....

Chosen Solution Hey Guys I have a 2017 macbook pro A1707 in silver that is working fine but I have a donor 2018 macbook pro A1990 in grey which is completely dead. Both have touch bars. My question is, can I swap the body of the grey 2018 to the silver 2017 since I prefer the grey colour. Is it possible? are placements of components the same? It was given to her by another friend, also old and nobody remembers any login info. So now it has an icloud activation lock. Yes. The logic board, for all intents and purposes, is the phone. Everything else is just peripherals.

Chosen Solution The prongs on plug as well as the wire get hot. Is this bad? Generally, yes. If the wires get to hot, they will melt, spark together, and make a fireworks show just before catching fire. The main cause of this problem is the manufacturer using wire that is not the correct gauge for the power required. This unfortunately is not a fixable situation for most people. If the unit is relatively new, i would suggest contacting the manufacturer about your concerns....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have this PS4 Pro (cuh-7100) where all of a sudden games are crashing on me with error code ce-34878-0 I already pointed out it has to be hardware issue because here is what I tried: Completely reinstalled system software with USB stick on NEW HDD I had (so I also replaced the disk in the process) Tried digital/cd version of games (both crashing randomly often few minutes after start but not at the same time just random, always within 10 minutes) Tried with and without network connection Tried logged in and signed off, in both states crashing tried with tottaly clean and fresh system after installing software through USB on new HDD, NO GAME DATA ARE SAVED ON CONSOLE All the internet tips are tottaly off me as most of them are regarding software issue or the ones I have already tried....

I already tried holding HOME + L1 button, no reaction. Tried SELECT + START + TRIANGLE + SQUARE, PSP just turns on but no image. Chosen Solution Hi Techs, We replaced brand new iPhone X screen a few months back. And 20 days after using that iPhone X, customer complaint that there were few purple spots appear on the screen and in few hours or days whole screen goes blank but phone is ON on the back. I believe that purple spots on the screen after few weeks of using the screen is clearly sign of accidental damaged by the customer and hence it does not valid for warranty claim....

Chosen Solution I know that you can reset it on a Mac with command option P R but does it get reset when the battery is unplugged, OS reinstalled or updated? Unplug battery & mag-safe, Press and hold power on button 10 seconds. Reconnect batter and mag-safe. It will reboot on it’s it own. Does not reset with updates as far as i know.

Chosen Solution I watched* my electrician reset the code within the fan housing (a small plastic ‘box’ with dip switches) a couple of years back the first time the remote/fan combination quit working. Well, it stopped working again. Thought I’d save a few $$ and have a look myself; have the bezel removed (and blades) to gain access inside the housing. There are two small possible switch units, but I don’t want to go further in dismantling the fan for fear of going a step too far and creating a bigger mess....

Chosen Solution Hello all, So I recently replaced my MacBook Pro battery with a replacement battery I ordered through ifixit, the repair went well and I was going through the battery calibration of letting it die, recharging it fully, die again and then use normally and after letting it initially die (after installing the new battery it showed 40%) it won’t charge at all. Before replacing the battery I had to have my MacBook constantly plugged in for it to function at all since the old battery was ruined....

I replaced my screen on my Asus T100TA and it is working fine and everything (touchscreen works fine), but there seems to be some sort of large area on the screen that looks kind of like a watermark. When you use a suction cup it temporarily disappears to that tiny dot on the second picture (it also is lighter behind it), but after pressure is applied on the touch screen or the computer is closed it comes back....

Chosen Solution I replaced my MacBook Air’s battery with a good brand replacement battery and this battery discharges very quickly, even when the macbook is idle, the macbook got dusted out and the thermal compound is replaced with arctic mx4, the cpu temp is always pretty good, its the fully specced i7 model. The macbook never experienced water damage and i have a protective sleeve for it when in transit so the macbook never gets dirty on the inside, but this battery still discharges very quickly, in about 1 hour and 30 minutes she goes from 100 percent to 0 and the macbook shuts itself off after it reaches 0....
