Chosen Solution So… To keep it classic I spilled a hot mug of coffee on my MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Late 2013 (bought Summer 2014). The next day it was between the hands of a Apple technician, who checked on it and found out that all the parts that have been in contact with liquid need to be replaced (topcase, logic board, I/O board, left fan). The data is safe on the 512GB SSD though....
Chosen Solution My Acer I conga Tab A500 just shut off one day and won’t turn back on. The power button lights up when it’s on but otherwise nothing. This is a common problem with this unit. I just got mine fixed this week. From my internet research I found that the problem is a design flaw with the on off switch. The button you push is not a switch, it pushes a lever shaped like a tiny golf club....
Chosen Solution What dose the SRS light on the dash board means? @sandlak2e ,SRS light on the dash board means, if light is staying on there is a fault detected in the supplemental restraint system/safety restraint system(usually has to do with a fault in air bag system). There will be a code to be read from the computer to enable telling which part/circuit is having an issue. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track....
Chosen Solution Hi, I’m also having trouble upgrading the drive. I have a Mid-2009 13" MacBook Pro, 2.53 GHz (A1278) So I tried using a Samsung 850 EVO SSD, I externally formatted the drive via SATA to USB adapter, GUID/MacOS Extended. The system won’t recognize the drive. I’ve tried installing MacOS Sierra (The ‘09 MBP has El Capitan on the old HD) on the drive from my other MacBook Pro and it doesn’t recognize the SSD either....
Chosen Solution My wife’s backpack with her laptop fell off her chair this afternoon before coming home. She didn’t think much of it because it didn’t seem like a hard fall. Nevertheless, she gets home and we’ve got dead video on the device. The computer is booting up fine and seems perfectly functional (hooked it up to the TV via HDMI), but the LCD is black. The LCD is powering on/the backlight is coming on but it just doesn’t seem to be getting a signal....

Chosen Solution Looking at upgrading the RAM, video card, hard drive, etc. Just looking at getting my PC up to scratch instead of buying a whole new PC. Anybody have any suggestions? This may seem a little odd answering my own question, but here is the bottom line. It was not worth upgrading the Dell Inspiron 530s. I really leaned heavy on irish420311 suggestion on replacing the HHD for a SSD and adding RAM....

The macbook can not boot, we tried boot from usb drive, and check the ssd with disk utility, but we got error 8 in the first aid. after we connected an external hard drive with other osx (yosemite) in usb port, and the macbook booted properly. We check ssd drive, we see any folders, but when we enter the users folder, the folder is empty....

After opening it turned out that someone had previously tried to “fix” something and it looks like the picture. Tape No. 1 is torn out, it has no socket (I know it’s NFC) while tape No. 2 is glued (socket is damaged). Is my fault due to these two tapes?...
Chosen Solution So, about 6 moths ago, my macbook fell and the screen cracked from the inside. I took it to get it looked at, they told me that the only thing that got messed up was my screen and that i should replace it with a new one as soon as possible, there was a tiny black blob on the left bottom corner, now it has taken over 60% of my screen and it keeps growing, the funny thing is that the blob moves from side to side, if i postpone getting a new screen is it possible that it may damage other parts?...
Chosen Solution Phone was thrown against the wall and the screen is black it turns on and lights up but screen is black possibly a broken LCD, a dislodged or broken wire as well as possibly broken connector. Difficult to assess until you open it up and visually inspect for damage. Try first Removing the battery and or sim card then re-install them. This will reboot them without resetting or wipe of memory....

When I came from work I wanted to play so I turned it on loaded up a game but as I was playing it the console turned off… It wouldn’t turn on until a minute went by. When it did it would turn on with a blue light then turn to white but it would beep and keep going on to update itself from what just happened and go to the main screen for a few minutes and shut down again....
Chosen Solution Hello: I have an iPhone 6 in very good condition… Except that it just stopped working a few months ago. It seems to turn on (the screen appears slightly less black than normal), and I can get iTunes to recognise it. However, it won’t sync or accept any updates to the software. I receive an error 9 with iTunes. Apple “geniuses” have diagnosed this as a problem with the logic board, which of course they won’t repair, only offer a replacement phone (for an exorbitant fee)....
Chosen Solution Hi. I recently replaced the headphone jack in my 7th Gen iPod Classic. I used ifixit tools and instructions (very helpful, BTW). But, there’s only sound coming from one headphone still. I’ve tried several different headphones. Could it be the logic board? I saw something about fiddling with the prongs inside the jack? Thanks. Try this and see if it fixes it. You may have bought a defective one....
Chosen Solution hello there I’ve had my nexus 7 very recently. on the fourth day I bought it I got it out of my pocket and I found a crack on the screen. now the outer glass is cracked and the upper area of the screen is not responding to the touch. although all of the screen is still displaying stuff normally. as you expect this is quite annoying since I keep rotating my tablet around to get to parts of the display :-D now I’ve found digitizers being sold separately (without an LCD) on eBay for 72$....
Chosen Solution The actual docking connector on my TF101 DOCKING station has bent pins. Where can I find a replacement connector, and can I install it myself? Asus does better than Apple at blocking their proprietary stuff going public. Any numbers, codes you can pull off the connector itself would be helpful. All you really need to know is the length and width of the connector along with the number of pins and their pitch

My question is will I have lost everything on my current phone that’s broken because I restored the old one? Or is everything saved to the phone and not the sim card?...

This always happens when there are lots of new graphics being loaded in. For example, in Final Fantasy, it happens when I go from the world map to a battle screen. Chosen Solution A while ago I attempted to put a light up Apple logo in my iPhone six. The phone was working perfectly at the time. I was unsuccessful in getting the light to work, and now the screen doesn’t work either. It is being registered by iTunes though. What might the problem be? If the light up logo is drawing current via the backlight circuit, you probably blew the filter (if your lucky) or the entire backlight circuit (if you’re not lucky)....
Chosen Solution I did a repair for a friend a while ago but it never fully completed because the screen wouldn’t come on. The phone vibrates when it’s turned on and touch ID works, it’s just that the screen never shows anything else but the low battery symbol and that you should plug in the charger. Even after letting it charge for a while the screen still won’t come on. I’m wondering if the screen is faulty or if there was a mistake I made while installing it....
