Chosen Solution How do you remove silicone caulk. Tried goo gone and mineral spirits no luck. Using a razor but taking forever. Is there anything that will disolve it w/o ruining the tub I would go with Goof Off Pro Strength Remover - doesn’t really matter which can type you use. It contains acetone and xyelene, so it’s not great for plastics but I’ve used it for paint stripping before and it worked very well for how cheap it is (~$5)....

Chosen Solution Hi all I have changed many many screens over the past years but this ones got me in relation to siri not working correctly, ok iphone 5 screen replacement (easy) however upon checking all is working (cameras, touchscreen response, mics etc ) siri dose not want to play ball, as soon as I fit the screen in place siri stops picking up voice, but if I lift the front of the screen partially away from the back casing at about 30 degrees angle or more it picks up voice again, I have replaced the ribbon cable in relation to front mic/camera ribbon with several others and restored and updated but still the same, has anyone got some idea as to what is causing this unusual issue....

Chosen Solution I’m new to solar power so excuse my very poor knowledge here, I need help! I’ve got two solar panels, small 25watt ones. On checking voltage with a simple volt meter, it shows a good 12v to 16v depending on light hitting the panel. No issues here. If I directly connect a 12v LED light, it powers it fine, light comes on no problem. Issue: If I connect the panel to my Charge controller for charging a battery, it reads NO AMPS and will not charge the battery....

Chosen Solution Where exactly is the drive located in this device? I have actually taken it apart to fix a power button issue and at the time I didnt look for the drive. If I do disassemble it again I will post a walkthrough for replacement and/or upgrading the drive. Apparently it is incorporated in the board. Or if not, it is behind a soldered metal plate which I do not really want to mess with on a sub $100 tablet....

Chosen Solution I replaced my ipad 2 front panel. everything is working except when i try to swipe up from the bottom It does not respond. I can swipe up in the middle and upper part of the ipad. but i cannot swipe upward from the very bottom of the screen. I also did not seal the ipad securely so it is partially sealed and partially not sealed towards the bottom and the left side....

Chosen Solution I have been referring to your battery door replacement guide and have gotten to the part that says remove the back plate. I have tried multiple times and am unable to get it off. First ensure that all the screws have been removed from the camera. In order to remove the back plate after the screws have been removed, you will need to apply significant amount of force using a spudger to pry them apart....

All that is leaked online is the MLB schematics. The camera is attached to a sensor auxiliary board, which nobody seems to have the schematics for. Chosen Solution I have changed my 5s screen with an new one that has all the extras. Camera, home button, ear speaker. Now the home button doesn’t work.! I have heard the original home button is unique to the phone hardware and alough you probably can get the button to work it won’t do fingerprint recognition. Can anybody tell me, what tiny SMD parts are sitting beside the battery connector frame of an iPhone 5s? Chosen Solution As you can see in the picture, my ribbon cable connector that goes to the home button is destroyed. Is there any way to fix this without getting a new logic board? I want to retain touch ID functionality. Honestly I’m pretty sure it’s done for but I figured I’d ask you guys if anyone has a miracle idea. Chosen Solution I’ve googled what I should do and rice seems to always be the go to, so I’ve done that for 3 days and when I plug the charger in it loads fast to 100% then I try to turn it on and it gets stuck looping the Samsung logo but never opens the start menu. Chosen Solution how i can repair it? Well you’re going to need to take it apart, clean it with isopropyl alcohol, 90 proof. Most likely you’ll have to replace the battery. But could be something else. Won’t know til you get in there and start trouble shooting. Just use some q tips. Don’t skimp on the isopropyl alcohol. You want 90 proof. What model phone do you have, so I can find a guide for you?...

Chosen Solution This repair is not going well. Initially, I removed the original screen from my iPhone 6 in its entirety and put it back together to ensure I could complete the repair. Then I ordered a screen replacement (item 268000-1) from iFixit and began the repair. When I tried to finish the repair, I could not get the connectors on the 4 ribbon cables to stay seated. No matter what I tried, they will not stay in place....
