Chosen Solution i was updating my iphone with itunes , so i put my iphone on recovery mode . during restore of iphone it showed error 3004 and then i could not take my iphone out of recovery. now it is stucked . help plz how can i fix it? Chosen Solution There is a problem with my iPhone 6. When it is not plugged to the charger, the phone is stuck on the black screen and cannot turn on in anyway. When it is plugged to the charger, the phone goes on a restart loop by making the Apple logo appear for 5 seconds over and over again. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS This will probably be fixed by installing a new battery....
Chosen Solution I was playing a game when the sound got very degraded and starting a “clicking” noise in game. The system sounds fine. After reseting the system I was playing again. Everything seemed fine then a while later it froze with green dots/lines on the screen. Page 73 shows you how to remove it. Your computer uses 6 different heatsink/fan assemblies. It will depend on your processor etc. The same service manual list the part numbers according to the processor. Do a Google search with those numbers and select a vendor to your liking....
Chosen Solution I dropped my hammer on my engine and now the cover is cracked exposing the engine parts. Is this bad for the engine? The plastic cover on the top of the engine is mostly for appearances, so if it is cracked it should not be a problem. However, the middle section of the cover is designed to act as a small filter so that big items do not get in the engine, so if this portion of the cover is completely broken, you may want to think about replacing it....
Chosen Solution After an iFixit battery replacement for an iphone 6, the front facing camera no longer works. The battery replacement was uneventful. I did have to disconnect the screen (as per instructions) to remove the battery. Used the spudger to reconnect the ribbon cables. Didn’t see anything loose at the cable connections. Any way to troubleshoot this? Ok, so you’ve either not connected the cable properly, or damaged the cable, or you’ve damaged the socket....

You will have to check the voltage outputs from the power board to the LED connector.

Could I replace it with thicker string? The radio still works, I just can’t change the station. Chosen Solution I have a customers iPad in that has been disabled and has never been connected to iTunes not backed up with iCloud. The customer said it automatically updated and when it restarted the normal password he uses was rejected. Now he has tried alternative passwords and it has disabled and needs to be connected to iTunes. He wants his files recovered but I can’t recover them nor restore it as there isn’t any form of backup....

Chosen Solution I want to replaced the old hard drive. I bought a new Western digital 160 GB 5400 rpm ATA hard drive. I cloned the new drive with a drive enclosure & used SuperDuper. I get an error message that says the drive is not a bootable drive. When I click on the icon of the drive, everything appears to be there, but when I start the computer while holding down the option key I only see the old drive....
Chosen Solution Hi, I just replaced the aging battery on my mid-2009 MBP 17" with a brand new one purchased from this site. The repair guide is well done and the replacement procedure is dead easy. However after reboot the new battery is not recognized by the system. I did perform the SMC reset as suggested many times around here, but this does not work at all (the magsafe light goes orange for a few minutes and then goes back to green and the MBP says that no battery is installed)....

Unplug the power cable from the CC. Remove the logic board by taking out the two retaining screws on the back panel, then pressing on the tab at the top and pulling the panel out. Chosen Solution My son replaced the broken glass on his iphone 3gs and now the slide bar won’t slide. The phone powers up and it looks normal with the icons and such, just the slide bar thing. suzy, you may have to double check the connection for the digitizer. If all connections are seated properly and straight. Pay attention to connector #2, that is the touch screen connection. Make sure it is seated properly....
Chosen Solution After replacing the board does the computer automatically recognize it? Other than physical replacement is there anything else to do? Kevin, most likely you will find that you need to reinstall a few drivers for the logicboard. Those are usually available at the motherboard manufacturers website, and/or you may even get the driver disk with your board. Everything else should be okay. Hope this helps, good luck.
