How can this be repaired? @mom_1 ,Sharon, Possibly a virus/malware, run your updated virus/malware software to see if something is found and remove the infection. I would try opening up the camera and looking at the SD card port on the Motherboard to see if anything is broken. Chosen Solution I installed a new hard drive and when I tried to installed the OS x, some of the letters on the keyboard were not responding. Does $#@&&! to do with the fact that maybe I connected the board incorrectly ? Sure. Just lift the keyboard and look in the socket (male and female) to see if they’re is clean and then reseat it. You don’t even need to screw the keyboard in to test it....

Chosen Solution Bought a Samsung 860 EVO SSD to replace an aging HDD in my 2011 MBP, ordered a SATA to USB cable as well. Connected it to my MBP and it was not seeing it. I did not even get the “this device is not recognized” message that lets you erase it. Connect it, power light on the SATA cable comes on for 7ish seconds and goes out. Read some posts and decided to try it on our other MBP (2012)....

You did not make it clear if it is locked on the BIOS or the OS. If you have issues getting into a Windows OS, your best bet would be to reinstall the OS. If you can not get into your computer because of some BIOS issues, let use know exactly what you see....

Chosen Solution Hi. After having an issue with my iPhone 5s not charging properly, I purchased a replacement lighting connector part of the phone and set about replacing it. After re-assembling the phone, everything works fine, apart from the phone believing that there are headphones plugged into the headphone port. This means that I cannot hear on calls unless I put it into loudspeaker mode. If I plug headphones in, I am able to hear sounds via them....
