Chosen Solution I have done some research and found that it is relatively easy to replace, simply just plugs and screws. but when i search for the part to buy i see Model: vostro 200 dell inspiron 530s. I am worried about the “vostro 200” part making uncapatable with my pc. does anyone know if it will be compatable @thebuck2613 why would that worry you. It is not uncommon that parts are cross compatible with other models....

Chosen Solution Accidentally ripped one of the Wifi grounds off of the motherboard of an iPhone 6, yet the Wifi still seems to function just fine. Is there any adverse effects or latent damage that will occur later on? Chosen Solution I’m trying to change broken S3 screen. (Front glass is broken). When I try to boot the phone with the new screen, the phone won’t boot. It just gives the blue notification light. If I boot the phone with the broken screen and then hotswap the new screen, it works. If I shut down or restart the phone it won’t boot again with the new screen. New screen is faulty....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’m having problems with my MacBook Pro Retina 15". It started happening a while ago and it got worse with time. When I try to turn on my MacBook, I hear the chime, and the computer boots into OSX but the screen remains turned off. I’m able to login to the Mac using remote desktop. Sometimes turning it off and on works, but usually it takes like 50 times turning on and off the Mac so the screen turns on....

Chosen Solution Just got “gifted” a MacBook Pro A1708 2017 along with numerous removed “spare”parts. The first Issue is all the screws are missing on the bottom unit. (I.E. logicboard) Are there any IPB’s that show exact size and placement of these screws? And secondly, can I purchase a complete set somewhere? Chosen Solution The video in my older Macbook Pro died. My son has a newer 2012 Pro but his hard drive died. I took the working drive out of my Pro (OSX.10.11) and put it in my son’s machine. His Pro won’t recognize the drive so I can’t even see it on Disk Utilities. Chosen Solution I am having trouble using the ifixit kit to successfully open the GS6. The adhesive holding the rear glass is not loosening up for me to be able to remove it using the provided suction cup. Any ideas? As Daniel has suggested, I would use a Blow Dryer or a heat gun to heat the back. Heat it up just to the point of it being uncomfortably warm to the touch but not so hot that it burns you....

Chosen Solution I noticed that about 90% of the time my MacBook Pro shows that only one of the RAM banks works. I have switched the ram sticks to each bank and only Bank 0 reads the stick. Any solutions? You can try removing your RAM and cleaning the sockets with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush. If that does not work the only solution I know off is to replace the logic board....

Chosen Solution I could not find the Acer Iconia W700 restore disks, so I just installed Windows 8. Now the screen is permanently split horizontally, wireless keyboard won’t work, and the machine is useless. Any ideas for what I can do to get this working? So far I have pulled it apart and found a connection which is broken preventing the circuit from being completed as shown in the photos.
