Chosen Solution I’m not sure if I should replace the iPod’s battery? Is it easy to do, I heard that people have broken theirs by trying to do it themselves. I have never soldered anything together or apart before, I watched ways to replace your battery. They seem pretty difficult to me. What to do guys think I should do to replace my iPod’s battery? Chosen Solution I was listening to my iPod classic in the car and picked a song and it crashed. Ironically it was Sweet Dreams. But anyways now it shows a sad face icon. I tried resetting it dozens of times and it makes this annoying weird sound and keeps on resetting and resetting even when I don’t press a button. I’m selling it on eBay. I hope to fix it by tommorow but I’m not sure exactly how to fix it....

Chosen Solution The audio on my LG television, model 42LH30 UA just stopped while the television was on yesterday. I have checked a few things, it is not muted, the television speakers are on, sound mode is Standard. There is one small squeak that happens when I turn the television on while the “connecting” sign comes on in the top left corner before the picture appears. That didn’t used to happen....

Chosen Solution Basically i’ve been given this 2015 macbook to repair (display issue) but i’ve hit a stumble at stage one. The P5 Pentalobe screw (the 1.8mm one on the right) is stripped and I cant get any purchase on it. I’ve tried supergluing and using a rubber band, just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue or has any tricks on getting it out (ideally without drilling). As you can see theres still a bit of shape but no where near enough theres just no friction....

Chosen Solution I bought an iPhone on eBay with a damaged screen. The seller stated that they had deleted iCloud and Find My Phone. After replacing the screen it had the disabled for 24 million minutes thing (with the old users wallpaper blurred in the background) but showed a network/carrier connection. Several reboots didn’t solve the issue so I restored in iTunes. Now I have the ‘The iPhone was lost or erased....

Chosen Solution The tip of my audio cable is stuck in the audio jack. Ultimately I want to remove it so I can hear some sound. Can I somehow switch on the internal speakers without removing the tip? Has anyone a smart way of removing the tip. I am imagining - inserting a spreading tool - maybe a guided drill - superglue? I have a 2008 24inch intel machine. One day, when I opened my iPod I accedentely broke my battery connector on the logic board, it just fall off, but it got fixed in a local service center. Everything was fine until the iPod ceased to charge. It was showing that it charging but nothing really happened, so the battery dead completely and the player just showed infinite charging screen....

Chosen Solution Does removing every third fin on the cooling coil in the refrigerator help the frig get colder or does it keep it from getting too cold? Hi, Removing fins will slow down the dispersion of heat. The more fin ‘area’ the better the cooling release. The fridge will take longer to cool, therefore it will run for longer trying to get the temperature down. Smarter people than us have worked out the amount of fin cooling area necessary for the efficient operation of a fridge....

Chosen Solution I have successfully replaced the battery and my laptop was working great, but when i plug in the power chord to the laptop it wont take a charge, the little green/orange light doesn’t come on and battery won’t charge. what else could be going on to prevent the computer from charging other than a poor battery? I would make sure your MagSafe charger is in good shape and working!...

Chosen Solution I recently replaced the battery on my late 2013 Macbook Pro 13” running Mojave 10.14.3 and it seemed like everything went well. I gave the computer to my wife and went about my day. Later that evening after it was shut down and I had to login and it wasn’t taking her account password. She mentioned that earlier it had the same issue but it worked after 4 or 5 tries so she thought she was just entering the password incorrectly....

Chosen Solution iMac 21.5-inch Mid 2010 Hi there, I guess there is dust, o lot?…, on my iMac fans. Have been using smcFanControl but even that tool isn’t able to get all the fans running properly, as a mather of fact it turns the speed of the optical drive fan to the sky… Other fan controle apps are useless, they can’t get the fans moving. Probably dust is the reason, and which fan now is running it doesn’t sound smouth… and stops now and then....

Chosen Solution I have completely taken the dryer apart and tested continuity of the components. I can’t find anything wrong. There are two possible things I need to follow up on. I’m not sure how to test the start switch, as it’s soldered to a circuit board. And the gas valve does not have continuity, but I’m not sure if it’s supposed to. From what I have read, if this part went bad it seems like the symptoms would be different....

Chosen Solution I bought an iphone that was said dead. I replaced the battery and did a hard reset and it started right up. If I remember right it would not charge at all. So I replaced the the charging dock and then it started with this problem. It recognizes when it it plugged in and says it’s charging but no power is actually getting to the battery. I don’t have any apps besides the default ones so I know it is not the problem where an app is using the power to quickly to be able to charge at all....

Chosen Solution When I unlock my iphone 5c the screen starts to dim and lines appear all over the screen and it goes a purple colour. When I press the lock button and it shows the time etc the colour goes back to normal. Then when I slide to unlock again lines appear and goes a funny colour. Each time i press the lock button it goes back to normal then whilst the screen is turned on it dims and goes the funny colour....

Chosen Solution Whenever I plug in the AC Adapter into my customers iPad, the screen flickers once every 3 seconds or so. I’ve tried doing a hard reset with it and nothing. I’ve opened her up and see no noticeable damage whatsoever. I’ve tried another adapter known good and the same problem happens. Any troubleshooting i’m missing? I still have the ipad open currently. I wonder if reseating the dock port will fix something....

Chosen Solution Hi. I dropped my iPhone 6S and the screen cracked, although it was still working. I bought a new screen and was assured it is of good quality. However, after replacing it I found that after the phone wake the screen is unresponsive. I then put it back to sleep and wake it again, then it will respond fine. Chosen Solution I would like to do a whole interior swap but more important than that are my seats! I need to know what vehicles seats threw what years will fit my 2003 F-250 lx 7.3 Super Duty. I would also like to go all power if I could. If anyone can help, i’d appreciate it. Thanks You can use the seats from a 1999 to 2007 f250 or f350 as far as making them power all the hardware is in the seats so no problem and if this was an option on your truck the wiring will already be there ....
